  • About The Role

    • We are expanding our Commercial Finance team to excel our growth ambitions and are looking for a part or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA individual who has an inquisitive and analytical nature to take on this new opportunity!

      This position will support our pump rental business unit to deliver high quality financial reporting and insights to the Executive and Senior Leadership Team.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Create and develop reports using PowerBI and other tools to provide key customer and branch information to the wider business unit.
      • Report on current and future performance, growth and productivity based KPIs to various stakeholders and advise accordingly to support commercial decision making.
      • Build partnerships and strong relationships with all senior managers to aid collaboration to achieve business growth ambitions.
      • Support and mentor the Asset Management accountant to develop the reporting process.
      • Producing business cases for further investment including property, people, and product to make sure we are investing in the right products at the right time.
      • Challenging current ways of working and look to drive efficiencies wherever possible and look to continuously improve working standards.

       

      Qualifications & Experience

      • Previous demonstratable experience in a Management Accountant, Finance Partner/Advisor or Financial Analyst role.
      • Qualified or part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ICAW/ACA qualifications.
      • To have a strong interest in using IT & Systems to be able to analyse and manipulate data. For example, using advanced features on Excel.
      • Previous experience of Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI or a similar tool would be advantageous.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to undertake a range of financial and business modelling tasks.
      • Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
      • Experience in using initiative to resolve issues and queries, as and when they arrive and be confident and curious to find your own answers as needed.
      • Ability to act proactively / be forward thinking whilst maintaining a methodical, attention to detail approach.
      • Driving Licence would be advantageous as there is opportunity to visit different branches across the UK.
