About The Role
The Selwood HR Team are based in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire and the busy department supports the business in all matters regarding HR, Recruitment & Training.
 
Due to the continued success and growth of the business, we are welcoming applications for the new role of Resourcer to join our existing team to provide focus on direct sourcing and candidate management as part of the Resourcing team.
Working closely with the Resourcing Manager this role will have the opportunity to actively be involved with the full recruitment process and engaging of new hires.
 
It is essential for this role that the successful candidate has previous history working within a busy resourcing environment with the ability to fill a variety of technical and specialist positions that can be challenging in competitive market.
 
Role Responsibilities:
 
  • To be responsible for vacancy advertising.
  • To actively source and identify candidates using a number of mediums.
  • To carry out telephone interviews with prospective candidates and "qualify" against specific role criteria.
  • To record and manage the recruitment cycle using the ATS system.
  • Scheduling of interviews of behalf of stakeholders.
  • Administrative tasks relating to the onboarding of successful candidates.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
 
  • REC Qualified (not essential)
  • Ability to use ATS Systems accurately and consistently
  • Proven history within a resourcing capacity (ideally within an in-house function)
  • Proven history of candidate qualification and candidate management.
  • Knowledge of the Engineering / Construction sector
  • Strong communication skills
  • A positive "can do" work ethos
  • Strong self organisational skills 
  • Flexibility to undertake ad-hoc tasks as required
