About The Role

Pump Rental Solutions are looking for a Pump Solutions Manager to join our passionate and committed team based from our Chandlers Ford depot. This role will provide support to ensure that the we deliver a uniformed approach to our solutions projects across our business to ensure we achieve and exceed our objectives within our Company strategy.

Day to day the Pump Solutions Manager will scope, plan and deliver technical pumping systems providing full turn key rental packages to our UK customer base. The applicant should also be able to self-generate business and be able to manage a client base whist providing senior support, training and sharing of knowledge with internal strategic teams to further develop and enhance our customers experience in line with the Selwood core values.
 
Tasks & Responsibilities will include:

  • Promote and exercise the company’s mission statement and core values to deliver the required uniformed approach for our business strategy across the UK network.
  • Establish and develop client interfaces, nurturing relationships and gaining their trust and confidence in our products, the services we offer and the Selwood brand.
  • Ensure we continually improve our QHSE standards we provide, focus on best practice and the uniformed approach, enforcing and adhering to all our internal and external procedural and legal requirements.
  • Advise our customer base and internal teams, to ensure a combined effort; team work is achieved to deliver the best most efficient solutions and outcomes for the needs of our customer base.
  • To deliver our internal and customer's expectation with On-site Safety. 
  • Continually seek out different business and other opportunities to grow our customer base and service we can offer.
  • Identify and recommend any innovative solutions and processes to make our business and offering to our customer base, more unique and attractive and make ourselves more efficient in the way we operate.
  • Keep up to date with changes in technology and development in the customer’s industry sector and our own.
  • Ensure agreed customer KPI’s are met to the customer’s complete satisfaction.
  • Carrying out and managing the on-site RAMS process, ensuring all on-site risks have been identified and stringent control measure have been put into place and the methodology of the installation has been communicated to all site staff and customers.
  • Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing process with current depot staff and customer, managing the Risk from sub-contracts with our customer base at a higher level.
  • To assist the sales team in identifying and developing new and existing areas within the different industries across their individual regions.
  • To assist and support our Sales team deliver presentations to customers to promote our range of products and service
  • Monitor expenditure levels and ensure that we are purchasing Labour, consumables effectively and at best value. Submit proposals to the Projects Manager for any supply agreements.
 
Qualification & Skills:

Essential:
  • Proven history of working within pump hire or water related industry.
  • Good technical and solution management skills and able to manage all aspects of the work load.
  • Excellent understanding of the design and workings of a temporary / permanent pumping solution.
  • Experience in actively delivering comprehensive proposals to customers.
  • History of leading teams.
