Selwood's headquarters are based in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire. Our impressive site is home to Plant Hire , Pump Manufacturing, Pump Sales and Export, Pump Hire and Sales as well as many other departments which underpin the success of the business.
About The Role
The Selwood Marketing team are based in the headquarters in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire and the busy department supports the nationwide business in all matters marketing related with some exciting new initiatives on the horizon.
 
Due to the continued success and growth of the business, the team are looking for a Marketing Executive to join the existing team ( reporting to the Head of Marketing) to support the Marketing team in identifying, creating and delivering promotional activities particularly relating to Product launches for an initial 6 month contract.
 
This position would ideally suit an individual with some marketing experience looking to develop a career in B2B marketing.
 
 Main Responsibilities:

 
  • To develop understanding of the product range to enable effective communications of product updates and product launches across markets
  • To suggest and deliver marketing activity to support product launches across sectors and territories
  • To produce a range of internal and external promotional material working with an internal graphic designer and external agencies to maximise the value of activity
  • To write content ie leaflets, blogs, articles about product usage, features and benefits
  • To support the wider marketing team to meet the needs of the business
  • To work within brand guidelines and support the roll out of new corporate branding
  • To update our website and social media content in line with key company messages
  • To take ownership of specific campaigns and implement activity across the marketing mix
 

Qualifications & Skills:
 
  • Recognised marketing qualification
  • History of writing copy with some technical content aimed at a B2B audience 
  • History of working with digital / social media platforms 
  • Familiarity with GDPR principles
  • Demonstrable positive "can-do" attitude with the ability to take responsibility for delivering activity
  • Good knowledge of punctuation and grammar

This role  will be based in Chandlers Ford, with occasional travel to Selwood branches, Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.
 
Selwood invest heavily in the training and development of our staff and courses will be provided as relevant to this position.
