Siltbuster‘s fleet of over 400 treatment systems are routinely out on hire to the construction sector. It has worked with the majority of the top 100 construction contractors and has helped tackle the dirty water produced by construction work on projects ranging from Birmingham New Street station, Crossrail and the Olympic Park through to the construction of Airbus’ new UK factory.
About The Role
 Siltbuster are welcoming applications for the position of QHSE Manager to be based at our site in Monmouth to take responsibility for the review and implementation of QHSE activities across the Siltbuster Group reporting to the MD.
Role responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the Senior Management Team and Selwood QHSE to plan, implement and manage Company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental strategies and set QHSE performance objectives , targets and work priorities based on significant aspects and risks.
  •  Maintain and continuously improve the Siltbuster Group's Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems to ensure ISO accreditation compliance.
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate QHSE policies and procedures which best supports business aims and in compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
  • Monitor and report on QHSE plans, objectives and performance, and ensure regular management level review of these.
  • Control and advise on QHSE system and process changes to maintain and improve productivity, efficiency, quality, safety and value.
  • Undertake production inspections for fabricated products and ensure ITP information is maintained for company and client records, where necessary liaising with clients on specific needs.
  • Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of QHSE standards and the relevance to business objectives, providing advice and assistance on QHSE matters.
Qualifications and skills required:
  • NEBOSH Dipolma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent
  • History and knowledge of working within a Production & Manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of fabrication (for testing & Inspection)
  • Well organised with a structured approach
  • Ability to communicate at all levels

Siltbuster are pleased to offer a Competitive Salary, 24 days holiday + Bank holidays, Pension scheme and non contractual bonus scheme. 
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.
Product training will be given as required in relation to this role.
This role will require the immediate and permanent right to work in the UK.
