About The Role
To support the development of our PMO function, Selwood are welcoming applications for the position of  Project Manager. This is a exciting role as Selwood develop a number of new initiatives across our business with an opportunity for the successful candidate to work closely with the Senior Project Manager to deliver multiple projects across our business.
The Project Manager will lead and manage business projects from inception to sign-off across the business landscape. Responsible all aspects of project delivery following a Scrum based, agile methodology with regular reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities of this role will include:
  • To support the Senior Project Manager in defining our project management process-es and procedures to industry standards wherever appropriate.
  • In conjunction with the Senior Project Manager, create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Work with Senior Project Manager to identify resources and assign responsibilities.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the allocated project(s).
  • To prepare and report on all PMO activities to the Senior Project Manager on a monthly basis.
  • To monitor all PMP capabilities across quarters and recommend area’s for growth.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
  • Work closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implemen-tation of the project(s).
  • Understand basic revenue models and P/L; meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Work with the technical teams to define and document questions, liaise with the business to get new requirements and explain feasibility.
  • Submit project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Form close working relationship with stakeholders, briefing them on project progress etc
  • Have an awareness of potential commercial opportunities during project activities
Essential qualifications and skills:
  • Proven history within a similar role
  • Qualified Prince 2 or PHP Practitioner
  • Experience of running complex, interconnected projects
  • History of leading teams / man management
  • Logical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple work streams /projects at any time
  • Scrum practitioner, Experience of Agile
  • Ability to operate t and with C-level stakeholders


  • Degree qualified or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of ERP / MRP solution deployments
  • Experience within Construction, Engineering, OEM industries would be advantageous.

Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.
This position will be based at our Chandlers Ford headquarters but may require some travel to our branch network.
