About The Role
In order to ensure the delivery of compliant and timely reporting, Selwood are welcoming applications for an Assistant Management Accountant to support our Pump Rental business unit as part of our wider Management Accounts Team.

Reporting to the Pump Rental Senior Accountant, this role will analyse and make recommendations regarding fleet management.
This role is based at our Head Office in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire
Responsibilities of this role:
  • Management and analysis of capital expenditure against budget and cash flow restraints.
  • Appraise new investments / divestment
  • Analyse disposals and repairs to highlight product / customer / management issues
  • Involvement in replacement programme management
  • Fleet / stock control management support
  • Fleet maintenance / repair analysis
  • Utilisation and inactive reporting and recommendations
  • Product category / processing management
  • Rate reviews (ROI)
  • Procurement analysis – capital / maintenance

Qualifications & Skills

  • Studying towards Part/fully qualified CIMA/ ACCA/ ICAEW (future studies will be supported to achieve these qualifications)
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficient in Word
  • Proficient in Powerpoint
