Siltbuster Process Solutions provides temporary and permanent water treatment plants across the UK and overseas. It provides water and effluent treatment solutions for industrial applications including food and drinks production, steel making, packaging, municipal waste water, potable water and minewater discharges.
Siltbuster Process Solutions provides both temporary and permanent wastewater treatment solutions to the majority of the UK's water utility companies.
About The Role
To support the delivery of our SPS operations, we are inviting applications for the position of Technical Sales Engineer to be Southern or Eastern UK based or at our site in Monmouth covering the South regions of the UK. This role will provide extensive operational and sales support to customers.
Role responsibilities:
  • To plan and conduct sales visits and meetings with key individuals and organisations within the relevant industrial / municipal sectors.
  • Forge relationships with key stakeholders within client organisations to promote SPS and identify potential opportunities.
  • To assist in the development of sales projections and budgets
  • To identify opportunities for and arrange technical and sales presentations within the client organisation.
  • To prepare written quotations and proposals in response to customer enquiries.
  • Complete relevant cost plans and equipment schedules during development of the proposal for approvals and future reference.
  • Work with other SPS colleagues to develop case study and other promotional material required to promote the business.
  • Assist engineering colleagues with site installation and commissioning work where necessary.
  • Assist in the development of sales opportunities municipal clients where required.
  • Maintain good communications with logistics and relevant engineering staff regarding equipment requirements.
  • To attend and represent the company trade shows / events and where required, conduct presentations to client groups.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Knowledge of working within the industrial effluent industry or municipal knowledge.
  • Proven record of operating within a technical sales environment with focus on relationship building.
  • Organised with attention to detail.
  • Strong communicator with ability to operate at all levels.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Monday to Friday 40 hours per week. This role can be home based with regular visits to Siltbuster Monmouth.  Relevant IT equipment will be provided.
Product training will be given as required in relation to this role.
This role will require the immediate and permanent right to work in the UK.
